It's been the 4th day that we're staying in Weed with the kindest person ever - Bruce. We hooked up the RV in his driveway. This amazing guy is so welcoming - he makes us feel home and shows us all the beautiful places around. There's so much to see here - lava tube caves, waterfalls, volcanoes, rivers, wildlife, interesting vegetation and more.
We hike half a day and then we go back home to rest, read a book under a tree shade with the stunning sight of Mt. Shasta in front of us (when the smoke is not too bad). Then we cook dinner and later indulge in the hot tub.
The kids enjoy playing around, watering the plants, reading and taking a ride in one of Bruce's old cars. Adi was very excited about sitting at the front for the first time in his life.
Dagan enjoyed getting his hands dirty by helping to fix the big old car. Yay!! It's working again!
We're waiting for Denise, Bruce's wife to come back so we can enjoy her company too.

How high is Mt. Shasta ? Is it possible to hike to the top?? Can't wait to see the photos from that expedition!!!

It's 4,322m high and it's possible to hike to the top. I won't climb it because I might sweat(-:
