Halloween in New Jersey

We are staying with Misha's Israeli cousins Aviva and Hillel, third cousins visit in a row. They are living in New Jersey and we're having the best time, including Israeli tv, food and the easiest language in the world, Hebrew. In the morning the kids and Dagan dressed up the rv for Halloween.
The kids also got dressed up and all ready for trick or treating.
There are tens of kids in the neighborhood and they were all out in the streets this afternoon, looking for candy. The costumes we liked most were the bananas and strawberries

Aviv and Adi went trick or treating and came back with loads of candy
Later we had a yummy dinner, cooked by chef Aviva

I think it's fantastic that the kids got to go trick or treating! I bet they had a great time - Jack went for over two hours and the house is now filled with candy!! You know that we're in Iowa though....everyone thought he was a CHICKEN!?!?! Please - when have you ever seen a chicken that is bright red, yellow and blue??? A parrot maybe, but a chicken? :-) Enjoy the time with family!!!
