Glacier national park

Yesterday we arrived to Glacier national park. On the way we stopped in Revelstoke where we took a short bike hike along the Columbia river.
In the park itself we entered the visitor center, where Aviv tried to see what she would look like with a 'small' mustache
We camped in the park and the next day we went on a 8km hike uphill to get closer to one of the 430 glaciers of the park. The scenery was amazing, with waterfalls, snow, glaciers, flowers and wildlife.

It was a good opportunity to check our new hiking boots
Some of the views

road schooling

Some of the educational highlights from the last days...
We made pizza for cooking class:
1/2 kg flour
1/4 cup olive oil
3 spoons sugar
1 spoon dry yeast
1 tsp. salt
3/4-1 cup of warm water
Knead all ingredients and let dough rise for 1 hour. Knead again and put in baking pan.
Add toppings and bake for 30min.

Our last P.E. attraction is badminton, or as the kids call it - "birdie" (Stacey, was it you?)
For sports we also hiked 8Km uphill this morning, in Glacier park. I will write a different post about it.
Other school activities are the regular boring math, reading, writing, science etc...

Vacation in Canada

We got so used to our trip routine in the US that ever since we crossed the border to Canada the day before yesterday, it feels totally different. Kind of vacation. Guess we became really spoiled with the campgrounds infrastructure and convenience of the US that we feel like we're having a hard time in Canada. No electricity and water in most of the Canadian campgrounds which means no internet access, less showers but... no less fun.

So far it's been so hot, 35-39C and the prettier part of Canada is still ahead of us. We've traveled kilometers (finally it's not miles) and we're still on our way to Glacier National Park. Hopefully tomorrow we'll get there. We're cooling down in lakes we see on the way

We have a new "porch", it's the awning we installed lately. It gives shade and completes the rv 'look'.
Relaxing in the shade
Adi and Aviv participating in the most gross and disgusting roasted marshmallow contest

We plan to back in the US within a week and then we'll be connected to the world more frequently again.
