Columbia river gorge

We spent 2 days in this beautiful area on the border between Oregon and Washington, where the wide Columbia river runs. We saw lots of water falls, the one in the pictures is Multnomah Falls. We first went on the bridge that crosses above the lower fall and then Adi and Dagan continued to the upper vista point. A chipmunk came to share a snack with them.

We did some schooling. Dagan taught Aviv Math and in return Aviv read him a story "The Hobbit". In the meantime Adi was relaxing in the hammock.

Awesome photos and blog!! Cathy put me "on the spot" for Seattle - distant memories but I'll try. Most of the stuff will be in your guidebook: Pike Place Market (fish tossing), Space Needle, Ferry to Olympic Penninsula, Underground city tour, MtRanier!!, Boeing factory in Everitt is world's second largest building (by volume) - don't know if they do tours, there's a restaurant downtown (close to basketball arena that has a great single-malt collection (McCaffrey, McAllan,??,McSoomething), good brewpub close to where I used to live in Kirkland (Wiamea?), Lake washington locks (salmon "ladder"). This is what comes to mind. By the way, this written on my BlackBerry while sitting on the tarmac while delayed in Sao Paulo. Tenho saudades por Brasil, mas nao por viagems do aero dentro Brasil - voces?

Boa viagem!!
