Oregon coast

This morning we hiked for 2 hours in the sunny dunes. On the way we found this cool 'Trazan' swing hanging from a tree.

As we continued along Oregon coast, clouds came in and covered the sky, temperature dropped and strong wind blew. We stopped at Haceta Head lighthouse for Adi's research about lighthouses.

It looked like a place in Scotland with the winds and mist. We took a tour inside the lighthouse which was built 114 years ago and is still active, with a modern 1000W light bulb and a special lens to make the light seen from distance.

Adi asked the guide few questions to complete his research. We also saw the lighthouse keeper's old house which is a bed&breakfast place today.

Hi all,

How are you doing Adi? Who gave you this great assignment about lighthouses? And as I can see, you found a beautiful one. We will drive up north this weekend (in Holland that is) and I will see if we can make a picture of a lighthouse for you. Have a great American day today ... love the sandersjes

Hey Dafi!
Ana Paula and I both substituted you in the knitting club today! We produced absolutely nothing except for a lot of chatting - and that we did quite well!! Tomorrow we are going to look at a house in their condo - we have a teenage daughter who needs a party room more and more often :-)
Take care!!

Hi Sanders,
Adi got this project as part of the 'road schooling' we're doing. He would love to get a picture of a dutch lighthouse. Does it have a windmill on top? (-:
