Teton National Park

First I want to share with you what conditions the last post was written under. We had no electricity hookup but we wanted to have internet really badly. After exploring the campground, we found out that there are outlets in the restrooms. So after the kids went to bed we dressed up well, took 2 picnic chairs and a beer for Dagan and we sat by the toilets with the laptop. We greeted goodnight all the toilet users who passed by. By the time we were done we felt like popsicles.

And now to Teton. This park is kind of an extension of the Yellowstone. It's known mainly for its mountain scenery.
It also has many interesting animals

The one we liked most was the moose. We sat for an hour to watch him eating by the river.

Later in Jackson visitor center, the kids tried on some elk antlers. They are HEAVY!
We are still in Wyoming, in the very beginning of our long journey to Iowa...

Hi, what a weird scene, internetting in the bathrooms!!!!You must have been desperate:-) No strange animals at night???? What about all the little creeps, we only see the big brothers on the photo`s, I am sure there must be some ants, cockroaches, spiders.......
How many days you were going to stay with Cathy and Jim? And after that? Back into Canada? Or trying to find some warmer destinations?
Enjoy your trip and have fun, Augusta

From Cathy and Jim we will go to Chicago and the great lakes, Toronto, New England and from there follow the warmth to the south.

I can't follow your trip anymore - I get so jelous......
What you see and experience is just too much! I thought we had the best time ever the month we travelled in Chile/Argentina, but your trip just continue and continue and never ends. I'm so happy for you - and for the kids - theese months will be worth more than years at school!!

Cathrine, I think you express the thoughts of all of us. We also told each other many times, next year.....or the year after..... We will for sure make a trip like this someday, it`s so beautifull! Parts we have been to, but most of it, North West of the US, Canada and Florida is new for us too! Really amazing beautiful nature, different than Chili and Argentina, but also astonishing!!! So why not changing your shopping trip for a RV trip of some weeks???
It must be part of expatland:-)

Expat land should be an rv fleet. We don't need a land, we'll just wonder around the world and continue to be expats forever and ever!
